Chinatown, Kuala Terengganu on CCD

|
Went to Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu last week for Eid celebration. Teamed up with two of fellow photographers; azmanshah ( http://azmanshah.fotopages.com ) and syahrin ( http://www.arinaziz.com ) do some serious shooting there.

well, not much to shout abt of our dishes. just simple meals for 4 of us. yesterda (7 Nov 04) wifey prepared special pineapple drinks where the pineapple would be cut into small cubes, cooked (add some sugar to taste) and served chilled. The taste was excellent. thanks to her for preparing it. 
Along the way, i snapped a few pics from our kitchen, mainly consist of everyday things that we see in the kitchen. 
All shots were taken with Nikkor 50/1.8D and Hoya +4 close up filter.
To those that have never been into the kitchen, here are what you would see in a typical Malaysian kitchen.

Buka Puasa at Anwar Tomyam
|
|
Planned this gathering for abt 2 weeks and finally 6 of us managed to get together at Anwar Tomyam in Kampung Baru. The place has always been a part of our life as this is the restaurant that most of us in the group (koytiawgagak e-group) used to frequent during our bujang days.
Kupap and myself reached there abt 6pm after braving heavy rains. The taxi driver (an Indian fella) did not even know the place (what lar  ). Anyway, we were the first one that raeched there. No other customer yet.....talk abt being punctual .
Not to disappoint us the food was as tasty as ever.
Thanks to all that attended the buka puasa i.e. Mr and Mrs Razman, Kupap, Atid and Erman.

Under the Glorious Blue Sky

Last night i was really bored as i have no pics to post process. Then i realized that i still have a few 'leftover' pics from our vacation cum meet-my-old-friends session in Sabah. Ahah!! True enough, one CDR of pics taken in Kuala Lawas, Sarawak have yet to be processed. Mostly taken in NEFs (I love NEFs!! )
A bit on Kuala Lawas: The place is close to the border of Sabah and Brunei. Well initially my mother in law wanted to go to Brunei but since making a day trip pass is such a hassle, we decided to survey Kuala Lawas. True enough, the place is really relaxing compared to KayHell. And the sky is so blue!! Well, it seems that anywhere we go in Borneo the sky is always blue ...
Those ppl in Sabah and Sarawak are really blessed lot with beautiful skies and IMHO, Sabah is a very ideal place to shoot landscape (Got Mount KInabalu mar! )
Besides the blue sky, Kuala Lawas also have a sort of like a bird sanctuary, not many birds though.

I'm a switcher!!
Been a windoze useras far as can remember and finally last month decided to get a Mac  . a spanking brand new 14" iBook G4 1Ghz with 768MB DDR SDRAM and 40GB of HD.
Eat your heart out Mr Gates!!
An apple day keep the Windoze away!! hahaaaa

Place : Wangsamaju PROJET petrol station
Time : 9.30 pm and now still8 of us here (ted, mike, hantu, engku, azmanshah, shahrin, bubba and yours truly)
