Last raya haji i was in Kuantan celebrating raya haji.
Petang petang pi ke kg selamat konon konon nak capture sunset. hampa sebab sunset hanya boleh lekat kat celah gigi jer. change subject kepada capturing fishermen of Kg Selamat.
Aaah...the brave fishermen....what can i say abt them? Mempertaruhkan nyawa membelah badai di tengah laut...Sometimes i was thinking how much does it worth to gamble with their live just to get the fishes to us?
To all the brave fishermen out there, may God bless you and guide you back home safely back to your beloved family.

Built in 6 and a half years (completed in 1993) by a Master Builder from Kelantan, this residence won the prestigous Aga Khan Award in 1998 under the residence category. Built mostly on chengal and resah wood; where the former is one of the toughest wood in the world. Believe or not this house was built without a single nail was used and no proper measuring tape was used!
I was honoured to be given an opportunity to record images of this magnificent house.
According to the owner of the residence, Dato' Dr. Haji Rudi Salinger, the late Master Builder himself Ibrahim bin Adam has only one eye and one arm.

Akad nikah of Alya Abdul Halim and Yusuke Kabeya (3 Dec 2004)
|
|
This is a cinta antara benua kind of love story. The bride is Alya Dato' Abdul Halim and the groom is Yusuke Kabeya Abdullah. The akad nikah was held at the bride's home in Kelana Jaya on one fine morning.
The bride is a Malaysian and the groom is a Japanese working in Malaysia. Met at their working place and finally agreed to spend the rest of their life together.
The ceremony was attended by only to close relatives and friends. From the groom's side, the father (Akihito Kabeya) and his two other sons (Shisuke Kabeya and Kisuke Kabeya) attended the ceremony, together with their relatives all the way from Nagoya, Japan.
Prior to akad nikah, Ustaz Hussein Yee Abdullah gave a very meaningful talk to all of us who attended the ceremony. Some of it if i may recall is that marriage is not until the end of life, it is to the afterlife too. That was the only part that i could remember .
Both of them will be going back soon to Japan as the hubby managed to get a job in Japan.

Green green morning of home

Took all these pics at my mum in law backyard on one fine morning in Kubang Buaya, Kuantan Pahang. It was raining the night before and the morning was blessed with fresh dew.
